On your team, identify how many clients each team member can handle at 100% capacity. For example:

My recommended goal is to always have 1-2 contractors waiting to convert to part-time work…

Or – ramp up BEFORE you have a need.

When you do this, your team will be ready to scale when the time comes.

When we hire consultants, we usually do two things:

• Hire in pods of 3, knowing that 1-3 won’t be a good fit

• Hire before we need them, to fulfill our incoming volume
