What We Built Instead

We built a custom AI reporting workflow that handles scheduled client reports end-to-end automatically while still feeling personalized for each client.

Here’s how it works.

Step 1: Centralize Every Client in One System

All client data lives in a single, structured list. Each client has configurable options, including:

  • Report status (enabled or disabled)

  • Report frequency (daily, weekly, or monthly)

  • Connected Google Ads account

  • Priority metrics (CTR, CPA, conversions, ROAS, etc.)

  • Budget sensitivity settings

  • Slack channel destination

  • Business description and website context

Once this is set up, there’s nothing left for a human to touch.

Step 2: Let the Agent Do the Heavy Lifting

On schedule, the workflow:

  • Pulls all campaign data automatically

  • Normalizes performance metrics

  • Runs the data through a custom AI analysis layer

  • Detects anomalies and wasted spend

  • Generates improvement ideas

  • Formats everything into a clean, readable report

No dashboards to open, spreadsheets to fix and best of all, no “did we send this already?” moments.

Step 3: Deliver Reports Where Clients Actually Look

Instead of burying insights in dashboards no one checks, reports are sent directly to Slack.

Each report includes:

  • Reporting period

  • Key metrics (spend, conversions, CPC, CPA, CTR, CVR)

  • Wasted spend alerts

  • Campaign-level anomalies

  • 3 clear ideas to improve performance

And because it’s built as a modular system, we can toggle sections on or off:

  • Month-to-date comparisons

  • Campaigns requiring human review

  • Funnel-specific breakdowns

  • Anomalies only

  • Recommendations only

The experience feels tailored, even though it’s fully automated.
