I recommended a few ideas:

  • Start an ad creative subscription

    • Make ads for companies that have media buyers

  • Build a new Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) offer

    • Audit their copy and landing pages to find opportunities to improve conversion rates

  • Email editing/optimization

    • For leads that take email in-house this is perfect; and for clients who use your ad services (but manage their own email) this is an easy cross-sell

Time

This founder is doing too much…

Sharing that he spends 5 hours a week on process management!

I asked him what would happen if he spent those 5 hours a week on lead gen efforts over the next 6 months.

His response?

“We’d add $20k-$50k in MRR.”

Here’s what I proposed:

  • Bring in dot and co to delegate account management until you can afford a FT employee

  • Hire a fractional operator to run team meetings and do team management for 2-5 hours a week. When you have the budget, if this is the right person, you can hire FT
