INSIDE: The simple tweaks that transformed my LinkedIn lead generation efforts

I recently went from booking 3 calls a month on LinkedIn…

To booking 15 calls in the last 15 days.

  1. Updating my profile page

  2. Posting better content

A Profile Page Update

Once I saw that LinkedIn was cooking…

I hired a consultant to tell me how I could change my profile page to get more leads per month.

Your profile page is your landing page on LinkedIn, and when optimized well, you’ll increase your booked calls per month.

There were 4 major tips he shared:

1 — Fix Your Header

I improved my header by adding more of my successes

2 — Services Section

This is a NEW feature and NO ONE is talking about it!

LinkedIn finally added a similar section to google business profiles.

I always go to or buy from businesses with the most 5-star reviews on google…

And now you can leverage this kind of social proof on LinkedIn, too!

It took me a bit to figure out how to set this up and actually get people leaving reviews…

His next piece of advice was to update my feature section to include:

4 — Additional Testimonials

LinkedIn now lets you hyperlink additional resources in your experience section.

I used this feature to hyperlink to two of our case studies for added social proof.

These four updates made a massive difference to my profile…

But the other big difference in getting more leads off LinkedIn?

Posting Better Content

For the last year, I’ve been slacking on LinkedIn content, because I didn’t think it actually mattered!

I’d been reposting my content from Twitter with minimal thought or effort…

And the simplest feedback I got was to just post better content.

Long form, value-added content is working GREAT right now on LinkedIn.

Posting natively was also recommended (rather than from a software, the algo is suppressing those content pieces).

By combining better content with a revamped profile…
