How a LinkedIn nightmare will make my business stronger

I recently got suspended on LinkedIn.

Last week, I hired new admins to help with cold outreach.

Their first task: Send 40-50 LinkedIn connection requests per day.

Impossible to mess up, right?

But within 2 hours of the admin starting, my LinkedIn account was suspended.

He tried to impress us by maxing out connection requests in a short window, triggering LinkedIn to flag it as potential software use. 🤦

Why did this happen?

The employee didn’t follow the SOP.

He thought it was a guideline, not a rule, and didn’t see any downside.

Why did he think that?

There were no clear consequences for breaking the rules.

  1. Implement New Policy: Going forward, failure to follow SOPs during the first month results in immediate termination.

Clear rules = fewer mistakes.
