1. Recap What You Hear

After your prospect shares something important, recap it in your own words. This shows you’re actively listening and genuinely care.

Example:

“Thanks for sharing that. Do you mind if I do a quick recap of what I heard to ensure we're on the same page?” (Then, I go on to recap in my own words).

All of sales and customer success is dependent on building rapport and trust.

Recaps help you build this, and make your prospects feel understood.
